Spokesman for the Left

I made the mistake of trying to watch Keith Olbermann last night on MSNBC. He was understandably hysterical over the obnoxious actions of thousands of Americans protesting the expansion of government. Naturally, he couldn't understand why these conservative rubes crawled out from their trailers and thought that it was OK to speak! How dare they!

After listening for a few minutes, I sat in stunned silence having just heard the most vitriolic, condescending and hateful rant I had ever experienced. This is a very disturbed man. It makes you wonder if he gets up in the morning and chews on shards of glass for breakfast and washes it down with Hylex. Wow! The venom just oozes out of every pore and he seems to breath fire from every breath. At least his counterparts from the right rant with a bit of common sense and a degree of decorum and geniality. The level of anger and hate evident in this guy never ceases to amaze me and the fact that he has any viewers at all makes me sad that there are that many people out there that feel this guy speaks for them. The crap that MSNBC and NBC news in general throws out there with the intent to indoctrinate and propagandize is despicable. I would love to see Immelt of GE and Zucker of NBC crash and burn so that they would be forced out of the insulated leftist cocoon they ferment in and be reacquainted with the real world. Oh well, I can only hope. I think it will be a while before I watch again. It's no wonder Fox slaughters MSNBC in the ratings. Clear thinking Americans know what they're seeing - a network that's unhinged and hateful. It's neither informative nor entertaining. Good job there, Keith; you really inspired me to consider your heartfelt and thoughtful analysis. You're truly a man of the people. Jerk.

Somebody help me out: Is this a rant against Olberman or irony?

Olberman sure is a thoughtless, impolite, America-hater. If I didn't know any better, I would almost think he was a congresswoman from Minnesota.

Your absolutely right about the rants from the right having a "degree of decorum and geniality" not found on the left. You can rest assured you'll never hear anything "vitriolic, condescending and hateful" out of our guys. From our people you'll get only warm and fuzzy claims like these.

"You know what autism is? I'll tell you what autism is. In 99 percent of the cases, it's a brat who hasn't been told to cut the act out. That's what autism is." "Jews are for [Sen. John] McCain because Obama wants to gas the Jews, like the PLO wants to gas the Jews, like the Nazis gassed the Jews.""That is what Barack Obama is. He is a steamy crap sandwich""I don't think homeless people should vote. Frankly. In fact, I have to be very honest. I'm not that excited about women voting, to be honest. I'm not. OK? You know?""After a few witty words read from a note card, and a few toothy grins to warm his diminutive audience, "The One" got down to the real meat of the issue and began extolling the many virtues of sex education to small children. Little smiles and sparkling eyes instantly turned to shocked expressions of horror as the savior's pants dropped to the floor and he began demonstrating the many intricacies of autoerotic asphyxia."...Scud September 2008Take that Keith Olbermann.

hahaha! thank you for reminding me of that witty bit of sarcasm. too bad it always seems wasted on you lefties who don't have a sense of humor. Not sure where the other statements came from, but I'm fairly sure it didn't come from Olbermann's counter parts which would be, Orielly, Hannity, Beck, etc. But again, mostly wasted effort on my part to expect a lefty to understand much beyond the tired old mantras, "better red than dead", "don't trust anyone over 30", "make love, not war", and of course your favorite, "Bush lied, people died". Brilliant.

Heywood, this entire blog is sarcasm. Here's a gem right out of his profile:

"...I hope to create political advertising for conservative candidates and have time to write a book someday..."

He's already killing me, but it gets even better:

"...Other than that, I'm just a normal guy burdened with a healthy dose of common sense..."

ROFLMAO!!!!!! He's like Steve Martin and Larry The Cable Guy rolled into one.

wow you guys are so funny! You forget the point which is SOP for brainwashed lefties; Olbermann and the elites on MSNBC are pathetic. But as stated earlier, my efforts are wasted on simpletons like you. So go ahead, continue to prove your ignorance. It's entertaining.

Let me know when you publish that book.

OK, just for you, I'll make sure there plenty of pictures and no big words. :)

It's undeniable that MSNBC's evening programs have a liberal bias. I don't have a problem with acknowledging the obvious and I like these shows.

Yet some folks on the right, while loudly and constantly proclaiming the shortcomings of the Mainstream Media, bizarrely continue to swear by the Fox News claim of being...Fair and Balanced. While it should be obvious to any lucid person, regardless of any political persuasion. That the Fox News Channel is the 800 Pound Gorilla of Media Bias. Fail to realize or admit this fact and you've just proven yourself incapable of recognizing media bias in any form.

Scud's worst nightmare. Pennsylvania's senior Republican senator plans to switch parties or, as scud sees it, come out of the closet. Once Senator Stuart Smalley is seated, the Dems will have a filibuster-proof majority.

Why did this happen? Republicans took the wrong lesson from their 2006 shellacking. Rather than move to the center and broaden their appeal, they moved in the opposite direction, past John Birch Society all the way to nuckin' futs. In the Northeast, Rockefeller Republicans have been switching parties in record numbers. Last year alone, 200,000 Pennsylvania Republicans became Democrats. As long as Republicans continue to take their guidance from the South, they can expect even more losses in the Northeast.

Just wanted to say "See Ya" to all you suckers going down with the S.S. GOP. I had a great time laughing at you behind your back. Best of luck in the future.

Dick Cheney said...

There's only one thing I can say. If America gets hit again- It's Arlen Specter's fault.

Rep. Missy Bachman said...

Call me vindictive. But I would just love to expose Arlen Spector to an overdose of Carbon Dioxide.
Which I, like the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, believe to be a completely natural and harmless gas.

Norm Coleman said...

If I were in charge of the GOP, I would sue Arlen Specter. Doesn't matter if the case has any merit. The idea is just to be as much of an obstructionist/loser as possible.
