2010 The New Revolution

"Hope and Change": The shallow phrase chanted as a hypnotic mantra for the brain dead cult followers of the Dalai Bama over the past 2 years, has finally been revealed to not only be empty, but also to be deadly to the future of our country. In just a few short months, Barack Obama has managed to show his cards as to his diabolical plan for the "change" he was promising. I think most casual observers that bought into the slick packaging of "The chosen One" and voted for him, thought that the change he spoke of was relatively innocent; maybe higher taxes for the rich, incentives for the development of green technologies, an end to the Iraq war; sensible "changes" that many could get on board with. Unfortunately, the real Obama plan always was, and is much more draconian and radical. Supported by the most radical leftist Congress in history, with a stroke of a pen he has mortgaged the future of our country by growing the debt with deficit spending more than any other president throughout history, combined. As his chief of staff, Rahm Emanuel said, "you don't want a good crisis to go to waste" and what they are doing is to intentionally create a crisis from which they can claim the need to take drastic measures to "fix" it. They do this all the while blaming the Bush administration for the problems Obama has created. This is of course blatantly dishonest, but hey, being a Demoncrat means never having to be honest. The end always justifies the means. The tidal wave of freedom crushing legislation, executive orders and directives is breathtaking. The Cap and Trade bill, based on the faulty and disputed concept of man-caused global warming, is poised to crush US industry, energy production and family budgets. Obama's healthcare plan will mean the destruction of the greatest healthcare system in the world, increased waits, inferior treatment, and ultimately, loss of care to many who need it. His lack of conviction on a sensible border policy continues to encourage the invasion of illegal aliens, and his deer in the headlights reaction to serious global problems and threats proves to the world that The Dalai Bama is pathetically unprepared and weak on foreign policy. All this adds up to the intentional and calculated demise of the greatest country on earth. Obama's Marxist training has taught him well in the art of deception, misdirection and subversion. Yes, the "Hope and Change" that was promised by this Trojan Horse candidate actually meant take over and destroy, then rebuild as Europe west. The US Constitution be damned.

While Obama and his minions are systematically changing this country into their vision of a socialist utopia, as a Christian, conservative and a believer in the sensibilities of the American people, I am optimistic about the future. I believe that the people of this great country are starting to see the radical nature of this president and his useful idiots in Congress and are starting to see the need for a new revolution in this country. As our forefathers did 233 years ago, we need to revolt against the oppressors and tyrants that are threatening our way of life. Unlike the original revolution, we are able to do this non-violently, but still the term revolution is appropriate. The need is serious and the time is critical. The speed at which Obama is trying to change the country reveals that even he realizes that the probability of him having 2 terms to accomplish his mission is unlikely. What has to happen for us to save our country is to mobilize for the 2010 midterm elections and throw out as many leftists as possible and take away the rubber stamp on his agenda. This will be no simple task in that the MSM is his PR firm and will cheerlead for everything he wants. Like in 1776, it will take ordinary citizens to do extraordinary things to sound the alarm and change the course of history. Our way of life is worth it. Freedom is worth it. As Benjamin Franklin answered when questioned as to what had been given to the citizens of this new country in 1776, he answered, "A republic, if you can keep it."

I think it's worth keeping. That means, it's also worth fighting for. 2010 - The new Revolution!

Gosh Spud, no wonder you haven't posted anything new for awhile. From the looks of this stuff..."hypnotic mantra, brain dead cult, diabolical plan, radical leftist, draconian and radical, blatantly dishonest, tidal wave of freedom crushing legislation, invasion of illegal aliens, Dalai Bama, Trojan Horse candidate, Obama and his minions, socialist utopia" etc. etc. You've been a busy little bee, with no spare time left to devote to your blog, what with therapy, organizing the next revolution and working on your Fox News creative writing course.

scud said...

Haha! Im impressed that you're paying attention. Maybe there's hope for you. You're right though, I have been a busy bee trying to make money in this "Obameconomy". It is almost impossible. Having an economic child in the whitehouse is killing business. But as I stated, that's his plan, and it IS Diabolical and intentional.

Jeff said...

Scud: the economy was tattered way before Obama came along. If you want some one to blame for your dire economic straights, point the finger at your buddy Ronald Reagan.

You may suddenly bemoan public debt - which, by the way, started to rise under Reagan. But it was the 1982 GSG Depository Act that ushered in the Era of Heavy Leaverage. Since deposits are insured by the Federal government, the Gipper gave these people license to gamble with public money. And what did we get in return? A catastrophic melt down that costs the taxpayers more than $100 billion dollars: The S&L debacle.

But what about the second pillar of the current meltdown? We find its origins during the Reagan Error as well. In the 1980s, the Administration ended New Deal mortgage restrictions that made it possible to "purchase" a house with no money down.

Since his brain was addled by Alzheimers, Reagan's memory of the Depression was faded. Chiseling at the New Deal, he created an environment of loose credit and easy lending. From the Washington administration until the Depression, we've had a financial crisis every 10 to 15 years. From the New Deal until 1980, there were none. As a result of deregulation, we've had two major financial meltdowns in the last 30 years. Keep it up, Gipper. Your buddy Scud won't be happy until he's picking sand crabs off the beaches along Lake Superior.

Unknown said...

Hey, scud, have you ever been to Palisade Head? It is a series of Precambrian cliffs that jut out of Lake Superior.

scud said...

Been there many times - it's beautiful. And yes, both parties have dirty hands when it comes to this mess, but you have to admit that what Obama is doing is unprecedented and insane. We can't grow out of the debt he's racking up, then adding into that the costs for healthcare and cap and trade, and we're really screwed.

Go to the north shore if you can. It's amazing.

I despise this president. The epic disaster that greets us everyday from Washington is beyond depressing. It's sheer lunacy. I love how the lib dem have such an addiction for looking backwards and blaming previous administrations and their spending habits, ignoring the fact that Captain Apology's deficit dwarfs all of history's spend. At what point does reality set in and you have to conclude the obvious? How long can anyone defend what Uuhbama is doing?

Anonymous said...

It's obvious that most Republicans still prefer the Hebert Hoover style of governing to the FDR model. And it's obvious they will continue to whine incessantly as Obama works to undo the damage done to the country by this latest bout of Conservative economic lunacy. Though they have proven time and again that they're extremely slow learners. One would think that eventually, even they would come to understand that this pipe dream of business policing itself. With no government oversight needed, has all the merit of letting the fox guard the hen house. But incredibly they are unable get a grasp on even this undeniable fact.

The Great Depression was ended not by following the Conservative proposals of less government, less debt and less spending. But by the exact opposite: the huge fiscal stimulus made necessary by World War 2. A time when government debt and spending reached levels not surpassed until the recently. And this stimulus resulted in the longest economic boom in the country's history.

But all the debate over policy aside, the previous poster did give us an insight as to the true reason the right so vehemently opposes everything Obama does, when he said. I despise this president.

scud said...

Dearest simpleton,
Your ability to look past all the facts and cherry pick the ones that fit your socialist fantasy certainly labels you as one of the Dalai Bama's greatest admirers. The truth about the depression was that FDR made things worse. Of course the war helped end the depression but that's because emplowment had to increase to meet demand. The reason for post WWII prosperity was Gov't getting out of the way and allowing business to expand and flourish. Taxes were low, except on the super rich, and regulation was minimal. This allowed business to innovate and expand. That's what saved the US economy. And that's what needs to happen now. Obama is blowing up the economy so he and his commie friends can change the country into their socialist utopian vision. Read history please.

Jeff said...

Things are looking up. Scud makes the case for stimulus spending.

FDR did make "things worse" by taking his foot off the gas. Roosevelt responded to hints of recovery by cutting the Works Progress Administration in half. The Depression continued until the ultimate stimulus package known as the Second World War finally ended the slump.

But here's the curious part: Scud is happy with the post-war level of government intervention. In other words, he's pleased with the types of New Deal regulations that Ronald Reagan so desperately wanted to end in the 1980s. His successes in that endeavor led us to where we are now. The end.

Jeff said...

Ever wonder what Minnesota Republicans do with the money scud sends them?

scud said...

You guys are fun. Bottom line: You're defending your hero Bama? Seriously, there's no way any rational person with a basic knowledge of finance can get behind the disaster that the dems are forcing on the country. Right? I assume we can agree that Barry is a disaster. Please tell me that you understand this.

Jeff said...

Settle down, Scud. Obama has had 1/16th the time to fix the country that George Bush had to fsck it up.

It's like Obama is trying to organize touch football on a field that Bush gutted with a bulldozer then salted so nothing could ever grow again. Sure, we could play on rutted slop with boulders laying about, but I'm willing to wait until he re-plants some grass and re-chalks the lines....

scud said...

Wow. For all your supposed economic knowledge, you disappoint me. You're delusional. You know if McCain were doing this you'd be screaming. But since it's your guy, you're going to cut him slack until there's nothing left of this country.

Yes, I'll agree that it's only taken the pretender in chief 1/16th the time in office to take a struggling plane and rather than steadying the flight, has put it into an intentional nosedive.

Mayaman said...

No shit Scud, trashing the other sides guy and making excuses for your own is pretty much the way these things always play out. Witness your hysteria about all things Obama and your 8 year defense of the Bush train wreck.

Your persecution complex is showing again.

Jeff said...

Scud: I'm not an economist but I play one on this blog. If McCain and his precious snowbilly were in office, my problem with them would likely be similar to my problem with Obama: inadequate spending.

I think the annual rate of contraction since the onset of the Great Recession has been about 3.8%. Rudimentary math tells me the Obama stimulus is at least 300 billion short and it seems unlikely he'll acquire additional funds. I suspect his team has placed some faith in some of its other initiatives, say green power and grid modernization. But you know me, I'm a man of little - do I have any? - faith.

If McCain was spending money on infrastructure, then I would not "be screaming." A road in need of repair will be fixed eventually. The point of this program is to compress the cycle in order to bridge GDP shortfalls. Deficit spending on entitlements is a completely different affair. I expect Obama to properly finance his health care initiative. Personally, I'll jump on a public option if and when it's available. My Fortune 500 healthcare benefits keep getting shittier and shittier.

Anonymous said...

Congrats Oprompter: the deficit just passed $1 trillion, on its way to $2 trillion by this Fall. What an ignoramous.

Worst. President. Ever.

Jeff said...

Scud: would it kill you to check facts? - maybe just once? The Franklin quote was in response to questions about the Constitutional Convention. That occurred in the summer of 1787 and not - as you report - in 1776.

Also would you mind telling me about all these changes that threaten your precious freedoms? Bush's domestic spying operation didn't bother you. What freedom crushing initiatives has Obama proposed that are more ominous than that?

BTW: With an eye on high-risk short term gains, Goldman repaid its public money and pulled down 3.4 billion in the second quarter. As a result, the firm established an 11.34 billion dollar pool for employee bonuses. As far as I can tell, the threat to your way of life is virtually non-existent. The Reagan Era model of private profit, public risk is still very much with us. See you at the 2019 public bailouts....

And still liberals defend their holy boy at any cost. It's analogous to going 0 and 16 during the regular NFL season and still praising the coaching staff for great leadership. This president couldn't lead a boy scout troop, let alone pretend to be the leader of the Free World. 50% of the country knew this guy was a disaster but never dreamed it would go this bad so quickly. "Now is the time we need cool-headed, EXPERIENCED, intelligent leadership." How very true that comment is.

What we need now, is the kind of inspiring leadership that be provided only by someone like ex-governor Sarah Palin, Senator Ben Demented (R-SC) or Sen Jack Emhoff (R-OK). It imperative that we support leaders like these, because only they can save us from "Obama's 'death panel."

Certainly, there were some who compared Bush to Hitler (personally, I never thought he was that competent) but don'tcha think the Hitler/Obama comparison falls short given Nazi attitudes about blacks? No doubt they'd put him first-in-line ... to Treblinka.

You know, God, the elder Bush's buddies in the oil industry. Don't confuse him with God who told Bush to invade Iraq. You know, God, the elder Bush's buddies in the military contracting business.

Oh, and one more thing: Glenn Beck is all kinds of gay. If Ted Haggert and Larry Craig taught us anything it's this: conservatives have crappy gaydars. Throw in Obamacare and Cap and Trade and we've really got the makings of Nirvana. This is what happens when we elect an incompetent, liberal, inexperienced, douchebag into the Oval Office. I know I can always depend on Government to care for me and watch over me. I look only to Government to solve all my problems, calm my fears, and to walk side-by-side with me through the good times and tough times. I love you Government. Thank you for giving me life and taking care of me.

MN is a strong Democratic state, with a long history of chronic liberal disease. But, like any true liberal, Jeff hates pretty much everything.

On to things that matter, Congressman Wilson, a true patriot, had the guts to say what 100 million Americans already know, that Bo is a liar as he stands there trying to sell us on the national nightmare known as Healthcare Reform. Of course liberals, when backed into a corner, instantly pull out the race card. Even Jimmy Carter, in his confused, bitter, moronic state, got into the act, claiming Wilson is racist. What a crock. -Social Security, established in 1935, has had 74 years to get it right, it's still broke.

-Fannie Mae, established in 1938, has had 71 years to get it right, it's still broke.

-War on Poverty, began in 1964 under the buffoon LBJ, 45 years to get it right; $1 trillion of our money confiscated annually and transferred to the "poor", has not accomplished anything but create a cesspool of losers, suckling on entitlements.

-Medicare/Medicaid, established in 1965, 44 years to get it right, they're broke.

-Freddie Mac, established in 1970, 39 years to get it right, it's broke.

-Trillions of dollars in the massive political payoff called the TARP bill in 2009, showing no signs of doing anything.

And now, they bring us Health Care Reform which will cost trillions over time and be a total disaster to manage, providing substandard benefits and care to millions, INCLUDING illegals.

Breath deep the HOPE and CHANGE.

We can do this by replacing the liberal touchy feely programs with sound conservative values such as sweatshops, child labor, indentured servants and no bid contracts.

With the return of our "confiscated" money, the money liberals are now wasting on the old, young, poor and ill of this country. We can fund endless conflicts in parts of the world, that just coincidentally happen to be swimming in oil. Conflicts that have absolutely nothing to do with the presence of this oil, but are being waged solely to establish democracy for the people of those regions. Democracies, that may or may not resemble our own form of democracy.

But I wouldn't breath this Conservative Hope and CHANGE in too deeply. We're going to do away with environmental regulations to.

So now uuhbama thinks that Kevin Jennings, a true pig in every sense of the word, is a good candidate for the Director of the Office of Safe and Drug Free Schools. Can this president, and I use that title loosely, do anything right? But at least while the ship is sinking, he's on Letterman getting more face time. What a narcissistic, self-absorbed, egotistical POS. 2012, hurry-up and get here.

I can't wait for 2012 either. That's when the Long Count Mayan Calender finishes, and the world comes to an end.

As unemployment nears 10%, and actually, is closer to 17%, where is our fearless leader? Jetting off to Denmark to make a bid for the olympics to come to his beloved and corrupt Chicago. Chicago: where teenage kids continue to beat each other to death. Yeah, what a great place. I guess we can't really expect much more from an ACORN community organizer. Well done America, you chose wisely....

And what's even funnier, Oboy screams over to Europe in his gas-guzzling B747 to make a plea for his hometown sewer and loses it to Rio anyway. So much for his great political negotiating skills. The dope can't even get something as innocuous as this done. Now with his health care reform crashing and burning, along with Porkulus and everything else he touches, BO is headed for a smoking hole. See ya Dems, let the slaughter begin.

What slaughter are you talking about?

If you leave Republicans alone long enough, you'll be sure to hear some real American humor like "Preznit Oboy" I suspect bobby bob uses "negro" in mixed company and "darkie" with his drunken golfin' buddies out on the public course....

Hey ho, ho hey! I just heard something of interest on the NPRs. A Republican proposed and his committee passed an amendment that will essentially charge fatties and smokers more for health care. Technically, thinnies and non-smokers recieve incentive discounts but who are we kidding? A Republican proposed a surcharge on bacon and deep-fried oreos. This is the first time I agreed with Republicans since the Northeastern ones banded together to help pass the Voting Rights Act. Keep your chin up, scud. There's still hope for you.

Well, FY09 is over and the government is posting a $1.4 trillion dollar deficit, tripling the previous record. Our boy Bo is doing well, I think. I guess we can't really expect a whole lot from a guy who has less leadership experience than an Arby's manager. Next, we can expect a $900 billion dollar bill for health care reform, courtesy of those progressive democrats. Bring on the hope and bring on the change. And how are the Obamatrons doing? Oh, about the same as always: glassy-eyed, drooling, rocking back and forth, staring at the latest Time magazine pictures of their beloved messiah, looking every bit like inmates from an insane asylum.

First of all, Barack Obama is a man. He's not a boy you backwater hillbilly. Secondly, your boy Bush straddled him with a $452 billion dollar deficit, TWO protracted wars that he placed on credit, a multi billion dollar bailout of Wall Street and a very deep recession.

Anonymous said...

He's a MAN! Oh yes, he certainly is, isn't he? Typical koolaid-slurping obamabot, you can't point to anything that your boy has accomplished, except, of course, tripling the national debt, so you revert to Bush-bashing. Always the same, tired, worthless arguments in a desperate attempt to justify an inept, inexperienced, clueless, egomaniac who has no business pretending to be a president of anything. But hey, at least he won the Nobel Peace Prize for doing nothing.

Unknown said...

Actually, he's doing pretty well as far as I'm concerned.

1. Staved off economic disaster
2. Stopped torture by executive order.
3. Credit card bill of rights
4. Expanded eligibility for SCHIP
5. Matthew Sheppard Act
6. Ledbetter Act
7. Reversed restrictions on stem cell research
8. Nobel Peace Prize recipient
9. Got his daughters a puppy.

And generally speaking, they don't hand out the Peace Prize in a box of crackerjacks. I suspect the Nobel committee was enamored by the change of direction the White House pursued since taking office. Obama stopped torture by executive order, closed 'black site' prisons overseas, took a softer line with Cuba (which, really, threatens no one), promised to close Guatanamo, promised to uphold the Geneva Conventions (to which the US is a signatory), reached out to Europe and pursued a multilateral solution WRT Iran. Mostly, it's probably a political gesture designed to reward behavior anathema to his predecessor. Maybe be happy for him. He's your President, too.

There was some chatter about Obama's polling numbers a little while ago. Anonymous gleefully noted that Obama was down to 54%. Unlike some agencies, Research 2000 provides regional data. It's telling.

Obama polls 59-32 in the West, 62-30 in the Midwest and 82-7 here in the Northeast. Across those regions he's at 67-24 in favor. So what pulls down his national number? The old Confederacy. In the South Obama polls 27-68 against. We should have let them secede back in 1860....

Please help us get Scud's picture placed on milk cartons here in his home state of Minnesota. Rep. Bachmann is beside herself with worry over his apparent disappearance. She believes he may be held captive in one of Obama's secret, U.S Census Bureau run, Re-Education camps. And as usual the lefty MSM is ignoring this tragic story.

Scud, have you become a casualty of The New Revolution? Or have you just become so depressed by the election of Al Franken that you have abandoned your blog?

Come on big guy pull yourself together. We can take heart in the fact that we still have the lovely Michele out there fighting for us.

Jeff said...

gNOp: Don't worry scud's not far afield. He's cramming for the ideological purity test all Republicans are forced to take....

Thank God it's just something minor like that. Those of us still fighting the good fight...to save the country from the Socialists... need all the deniers and naysayers we can get.

Hurry back Scud, you're missed here on the fringe.

Merry Christmas, Scud! I hope you like the card I got you.
