Oh My Gosh!

WOW! This is embarrassing! I'm watching the Obamination festival and I cant believe how sad it is! The event has been completely blown by the organizers, who probably are missing class to run it. The Carter video on Katrina was unbelievably lame. This guy is the biggest joke on the political landscape and he has the balls to attack Bush? What?! Did he forget that he's the worst president in U.S. history? Even worse than the disgraced "Philanderer in Chief", Clinton? Even more of a joke than Al "please think I'm relevant" Gore? Or the fake war hero, Kerry? This party is full of embarrassments and they don't even realize it. The anarchist punks outside the convention hall with their signs and masks are a perfect statement of where the Demoncrap party is at. They all deserve each other.

What I find amazing is the lack of enthusiasm in the crowd. I think the party is so torn with the knowledge that even though they finally got the socialist they've always wanted, they realize that there isn't a snowballs chance that he's electable. If he was running in Russia, or China, or Cuba, he might have that chance, but not in the good old USA. You can dress it up, flower up the language and surround it with music and pretty pictures, but in the end, the heart and soul of America can see through the smoke screen. They can and will see that there is only one grown up in the race and it aint the Ivy league lawyer who sprouted to prominence from the corrupt Chicago political machine. Like the Demoncrats who surround him in the senate, and like the still living Demoncrat presidents and candidates who preceded him, Barrack Hussein Obama is a pathetic joke!

But at least they trotted out an intern-murdering, lying, drunken, worthless POS like Fat Ted as another great mascot for the dems. It's hard to laugh hysterically and throw-up at the same time but I'm getting pretty good at it.

Roger that. They continue to amaze. I am praying that the old world Dems that pull the lever for anything with a "D" behind it, finally wake up and realize that The new "D" is actually a "C" for communist. If they do, maybe we can put off the inevitable demise of this country for another 8 years anyway.

Sounds like someone's bitter because Minnesota's loser of a governor got passed over for a politically inexperienced GILF.

The melodrama never ceases in Scudland, does it?

Some points:
1. I'm pretty sure the protesters are from Breasts Not Bombs, an anti-war group. Given the Democrats complicity in the Iraq War, your depiction of them as members of that party is dubious.

2. The U.S. never had a serious Socialist/Communist movement. Gene Debbs provided its high water mark with something like 6% of the vote. Ross Perot did better than that. There are many reasons to dislike Democrats but communism is not one.

3. You're probably the only person in America to depict Democratic delegates as unenthusiastic. The Republican talking point is that they're too enthusiastic. Maybe you don't get the memos since you don't live in the South. Anyway, it will be interesting to compare that Convention with next week's Father-Daughter banquet in your Twin Cities.

Scud: On a personal note, one thing piques my curiosity. You're a good Republican who's married with 60,000 kids, right? Do they all vote Republican?

How dare you mock my messiah, Barack Obama. Sure, he has no experience, no real accomplishments, no track record as a leader, but so what? He's good looking, articulate, and hates the unborn as much as I do. I loved his response in the Saddleback debate when asked about when life begins: "it's above my paygrade". Perfect answer! I loved it. You see, you neocons are always weeping and sobbing about abortions, holding candlelight vigils and singing your stupid hymns. What a crock. When we liberals see a dumpster full of dead, mutilated babies we think of one word: victory. That's right, neocon, victory. And Obama believes in killing the unborn as much as we do. I can't wait for him to be president!

Yes jeff, all 60,000 kids vote Republican, but it is because of their own thoughtful analysis of the candidates based on their own personal values and not as a result of a propaganda campaign from their parents. They choose on their own.

And The Dems have more in common with communists today than in the past as demonstrated by their policies of big government, wealth redistribution, over regulation, etc. Even a whacked lefty like yourself has to be able to admit that.

By your own definition GW is the biggest commie of them all. Nobody has expanded the size and power of the federal government more than him. He has done everything possible to redistribute wealth- upwards, but redistribute it none the less. But I'm sure all of this was lost in the "thoughtful analysis" performed by you and your eleven fingered off-spring

Scud: Like a good little neo-con, you never let facts get in the way of a political objective. Commies believe government should control the means of production. Again, no need for melodrama. I checked and Obama doesn't list "Nationalize Scud's camera" in his economic policy papers.

As for regulation, I'm a fan. If my employer had to choose between profits or safety, the CEO is getting a bigger bonus and I'll be forced to navigate icy sidewalks. I'm glad we have OSHA and I hope Obama adequately funds it.

If an importer has to choose between safe toys or profits ... well, we've all heard about the shit that's poring into this country from China. I want the Consumer Product Safety Commission restored to what it was.

If a food wholesaler has to choose between profits or adequate inspection, the extra money will enable those directors to buy food from a more reputable source while we get the shits. Personally, I'm a big fan of the FDA.

If the enforcement of standards that we agreed upon some time ago makes me a scudland commie, then so be it. Many of these regulatory agencies were created during the Nixon administration. He was a Republican. Does that make them commies, too?

Cheers.

Scud: C'mon! The Republican National Convention is in your home town and you've got nothing to say. It would be great if you covered the event but since you're incapable of fair and balanced reporting, we'll settle for minute-by-minute scudian rants that we can tear apart...

Um, that would be Jeff's wife on the far right of the picture. Hence, no offspring. I totally understand it now.

Say good night obombobitch, your time in the spotlight is soon going to be over and you can go back to what you were doing before: absolutely nothing.

You want a play by play, Jeffy? It's fascinating to watch the contrast between the DNC and RNC. The RNC is dignified, mature, intelligent, filled with educated, accomplished professionals while the DNC is like a low budget circus; a horrible episode of American Idol. Kennedy, Pelosi, Biden, Hillary, et al, the worst of the worst. It's all window dressing with no substance. Obama is unelectable. If the stupid dems would just moderate their nominee a little they would have a chance. But, they keep making the same mistake over and over, nominating the most liberal dipshits they can find and packaging it as the answer to all of America's woes. And this November, after they're handed yet another crushing loss, will sit and grind their teeth screaming voter fraud and hating McCain for the next four years. They cycle goes on and on.
