Simple Math

simple math
The Republicans in Congress have failed another simple math test. This past week 17 Republican House members and 7 Republican Senators crossed over into the land of insanity and voted to symbolically spank the President. Essentially, they went to the other side of the field and cheered for the other team - that team being Islamo-fascists. The Dems have been encouraging the enemy for years, but now there are a significant amount of spineless Republicans, worried about their seats, that are willing to join them. Because of the Republicans failure to understand what's at stake, their inability to lead and the reasons for their recent loss, it's time to flunk them and look for another class. We all correctly assume that the treasonous, hate-filled Demoncrats are chomping at the bit to hurt our country by losing in Iraq, putting their heads in the sand and turning the country into another failed euro-style, socialist utopia, but to see the Republicans willingly get into bed with the sociopaths is breathtakingly disappointing. After losing power in November, I had hoped that Republicans would have learned their lesson as to why they lost, but of course, being the out of touch career politicians that they are, they misread the election and chose to believe the lefty media and have now turned on their own caucus and run like the yellow cowards that they obviously are. As far as I'm concerned, they can keep running all the way home. We need to purge congress of these morons and elect true conservatives that care more for the country than they do for their cushy office seats. I have proudly given my hard earned cash to Republican causes in the past, but that has ended for now. The current crop of leadership (if you can call it that) is doing nothing except waving white flags as they run to the left. I hate to admit it but this group is as Julia Roberts said, " found between Reptile and Repugnant". And Julia Roberts is an idiot!

Look, as I said, Demoncrats hate everything about this country. We know that. Oh sure, they claim to be patriotic by standing next to the flag and repeating the same mantra such as, "we support the troops", and "we love America, we just want to make it better", etc. But actions speak louder than words. It is so disappointing to hear republicans spouting the same bile as the enemy within. Our country is in peril. We are at war with an enemy that values death more than life. The Dems don't care. The rest of us do. We need representation in Washington that understands the reality of the world we live in, not spineless career politicians that only think about their overly generous pensions and their Washington perks.

Would someone please flush, and then run the fan for a while because it stinks in Washington right now!

Does anybody on this blog speak "scud"? I'd like to know what has him in a tizzy....

Yeah, I speak "scud". It's simple. Wrong is right, Down is up, failure is success, etc... You get the idea.

Wow, looks like ol" Scud has gone off his meds again. But even in this confused state, he's more than aware that the present conflict requires absolutely no personal sacrifice on his part. So with that in mind. You can expect to see his continued support for the deployment of other people's children to fight in Iraq. Myself, I'm in favor of bringing all the troops home from Iraq. But short of that worthy goal. Here's a suggestion that might stop the bickering between the people who favor keeping troops in Iraq and those who wish to withdraw them. I really believe it's an win/win solution both sides can get behind.

Perhaps Scud and his kindred spirits among the 26% of Americans he doesn't hate at the present time, could come up with an all-volunteer, right-wing fighting force. We could then make both the right and left happy by replacing the regular troops already in Iraq with these guys. Lefties would be happy, because the troops ordered to Iraq would get to come home. Rightards, cause they can now stay over there and fight for as long as they want. All without having to hear anymore of this " bring the troops home" chatter from the left. I could, I suppose, still complain about the financial cost of the war. But, hey, I'm willing to be magnanimous in order to get this new fighting force idea off the ground.

Now for the logistics associated with this project. Coming up with an inspiring name for this band of warriors should be job one. A catchy name is a must, one sure to get the fighting 26% all fired up. Something like The Neocon Expeditionary Force or The Chickenhawk Brigade. After a fitting name has been selected, filling the ranks of this fine unit should be a piece of cake. There is a vast pool of willing candidates out there, people undoubtedly moved by a lifetime of exposure to the patriotic rhetoric of guys like GWB, Deferment Dick and Scud. Willing recruits, made up entirely of the right-wingers very own family members. This guys, is your golden opportunity. A chance for you to experience combat vicariously by putting your family "where your mouth is".

Typical response. Simplistic, immature, and ignorant. By the way, here's a fun little fact for you to chew on that you won't hear from any of your propaganda sites; the primary reason there is dissatisfaction with the war effort among moderates and conservatives is the handcuffs the bureaucrats in both congress and the pentagon have put on our military preventing them from getting the job done. Sure it would be messy, but that's what the on the ground guys are saying. I would hope even an anti-military, brainwashed lefty would know that.

My eyes are bleeding for having read that three paragraph rant about something republicans did to demonstrate they're out of touch with scud. Guys like him are the backbone of America, remember? I suppose he's upset with the non-binding resolution that says Bush ran the war like an idiot or something. In the spirit of bipartisanship they wanted to vote on All The Things Bush Got Right. Writers' block led to the resolution that passed on Friday. Oh, and Julia Roberts is an idiot.

Hey now, go easy on the libs. They may be scumbags, but they have feelings too.

We thunk up all those words for libs at last weekends KKK/young republicans meeting.

I've got a much shorter list to describe your typical Bush backer:

Typical response. Simplistic, immature, and ignorant. I'm sorry about that Scud. But after a couple years of reading your posts, I was left me with the impression that Simplistic, immature, and ignorant was the required writing format on here. As for your fun fact, what do you propose we do over there that we're not doing now? Try to keep it rational now. None of those nuclear attack, turn it into a parking lot or kill them and let God sort em' out kind of ideas. You know what I mean, none of that wacky stuff you guys hear on Faux or Rush and email around to each other.

By the way, how's the recruiting going?

BREAKING: Why does Tony Blair hates America? The BBC reports that Blair will announce the departure of 21% of Britain's "fighting" force in Iraq tomorrow. As a result, Scud alters his morning fare. He has Eggs Benedict on Freedom muffins....

STILL BREAKING: Lacking creativity - if he had a thought it would die of lonliness - anonymous responds to Breaking #1 with "lib dem garbage."

Did you ever wonder where scud gets all his "facts"? Conservatives have their own wikipedia now. It's just like ours only they delete anything that conflicts with a conservative mindset, like, um, the first 4.49 billion years of history.

It's an entire website based on faith. Compare wikipedia's entry on the Minoans with Conservapedia's. The former relies on about 50 academic references. What about Conservapedia? This introductory clause provides reflects the crux of the article: "According to myth, Minos II, the king of Crete..."

Yeah, yeah, yeah, anonymous. I'm lib dem garbage. Yadda, yadda.
