GBU2
It's really not fair. John Roberts is so far beyond the intellectual realm of the morons on the left trying to riddle him with infantile questions, that it's as if Babe Ruth was hitting in a T-ball game. The site of the dems trying to grand stand and showboat - basically for constituent points - was enough to make most people, not blinded by partisan hate, laugh out loud. Not only is Roberts intellectually superior to the pubescent whiners of the left, but without a doubt, is also in a different atmosphere morally and ethically. I mean really, Ted Kennedy questioning anyone on judicial matters? Please! I love this guy. I am so glad he is a part of the "good side of the force". The darksiders don't stand a chance, and the more they speak, the more they alienate themselves from the majority of Americans competent enough to be paying attention. So go ahead libs; speak out; make sure we all can hear you, because your stupidity is entertaining.

Come on, give the morons on the left a break! Today was their two minutes of fame. It's the only time they can get an audience this large to listen to them! Alas, we hear them loud and clear and their stupidity rings loud enough for all to hear. Despite the juvenille spit wads blown his way, Roberts was a class act and stayed true to the course.

The SCOTUS is comprised of seven "conservatives" and only two "liberals" yet the religious right binds its panties over nearly all high court decisions. They complain that conservative justices "drift to the left" in an effort to appease the coastal elites. They fail to recognize the structural framework that continues to squash their prayerful hopes.

At its core, the Constitution is a liberal document, the intellectual legacy of Locke, Montesquieu, Hume, Kant, Rousseau, Jefferson and Madison. The longer justices remain on the Court, the more they reference its constructs for their opinions, the more likely they are to vote in favor of free speech, privacy and civil rights.

Those ugly democrats you so loathsomely hate are doing their jobs. As members of the opposition party, it is their imperative to thoroughly question a candidate appointed to a lifetime position. The only shocker here is your gleeful support. You must think he's lying. If Roberts is telling the truth, then you and the rest of the religious right are going to wind up sorely disappointed.

Don't worry Scud. It's just like those moronic lefties to question another one of our blessed leader's decisions. How dare the Senate actually try to advise the President, or consent to his divinely inspired choices. They can't see, like you and I can, that the hand of God is guiding this President in all of his decisions. Oh sure, maybe Jesus throws in a couple of doosies from time to time, but that's just the Almighty testing us. Don't the Dems know that the Congress is just supposed to be a rubber stamp for the Executive branch. Seperation smeperation of powers I say. After all God doesn't have a bunch of angels telling him what to do, and it works out pretty well for him.

Jeff, you make a valid point regarding the need for ideologically opposing view points, juxtapostionally placed, fostering frank and open debate on all the relavant topics. My only issue is having the presence of Senator Kennedy involved with these hearings. Considering his troubled past, I believe the credibility of the hearings themselves is degraded as a result. JMO.......

Jeffreee,
Thanks for the history lesson. All new information to a right wing nutjob like me (we barely read ya know). And actually I don't "loathsomely hate" the dems, just laugh at their twisted and destructive ideology. Don't worry, I won't be dissappointed with Roberts, he will be a perfect replacement for Renquist. The real battle will be over the next Justice.

Will, why don't you be honest and let us know how many pentagram tatoos you have on your private parts, and how much time you spend on spells and incantations worshiping your evil master, Satan. Your poorly constructed attempts at irony is wasted here.

Who's being ironic? Don't you believe in Jesus, and his teachings in the Holy Bible?

scud said...

Yes I do, Will. Maybe you should shut down your pathetic attempts at sarcasm and read some of His teachings. You might be surprised. But sadly, I assume your superior intellect and knowledge has put you beyond such fairytales right? And I would appreciate you answering and commenting honestly as you, rather than hiding behind your immature persona. It's boring. I like the exchange of ideas and opinions but don't appreciate simplistic put downs and ridicule through sarcasm. If you can't compete honestly, stay out of the game.

How dare you accuse me of competing unfairly. Sure, I invoke the powers of the Almighty when I address people on the internets, but that isn't unfair. His strenght and guidance is open to anybody with the good sense to use it. You sir need to read up on His word. Your sarcastic remarks about my "superior intellect and knowledge" are statements born of the Devil himself. Any true christian knows that intelligence and knowledge have absolutely nothing to do with religious belief. As a matter of fact, they are frequently polar opposites. Again, I think that's just Jesus' way of testing our faith, and judging from most of your blog posts, it appears that usually you pass that test with flying colors. However; with your last comment, it appears that you have fallen into the underworld of logic and reason. A wicked place which men like you and I and the President are, by the grace of God, usually spared from. I pray for your safe return to the world of blind faith before it's too late and you are cast into hell for all eternity.

Now I'm really honked off. How dare those buffoons question the choices of Dear Leader? It's almost as if they think that the Senate has some sort of right or duty to advise and consent to a President's nominees...unbelieveable.
