We'll Take it from Here

bus
OK, it's time for the whiney, wimpy, limp-wristed liberals to step back and let the adults handle things from here. I think the liberals have had their time to tantrum about the unfairness of no longer being in power or having any credibility as to political ideology. It is time for them to sit down, shut up and let the grown ups save their sorry butts. You would think that they would have the capacity to learn that appeasement has never worked throughout history, or in this conflict, which has been going on for decades. The Islamo-fascists have been very clear; they hate the west because it exists not because of a particular policy or our support of Israel, or a military base on Saudi soil. We are infidels because we don't adhere to their fanatical view of Islam. Period! They cannot be reasoned with, they don't play by Geneva convention rules, and they are thrilled at the thought of dying while killing as many women and children as possible. They need to be rooted out and destroyed, no more touchy feely crap about being sensitive to their cultural and religious needs. And let's face it; this is a war on Islam! This is a cult not a religion. It was formed by a fanatical and barbaric lunatic who had delusions of grandeur, and hated women- although he owned dozens, some as young as 6 years old. Why anyone would buy into this is a mystery to me. I have no respect for muslims at all. Why don't we hear prominent Islamic leaders calling for jihad against the terrorists among them to weed them out and destroy them? They would go a long way to earn the respect of the rest of the world if they would only do this. I want to see on the front page of the paper that muslims have turned over terrorist cells living among them. Why doesn't that happen? Because the moderates are afraid they will be killed, or they know that the terrorists are actually following the teachings of the Koran. Either way, we know that will never happen. So the only way to defend ourselves from the army of Satan is to take the fight to them. Thank you President Bush, Tony Blair and the rest of the coalition of the willing who are strong enough to stand up against the evil of terror, and it's partner in psychological warfare, liberalism.

So are you an expert on the teachings of Islam? Have you read the Koran? Do you know any American Muslims? You can't possibly if you are capable of spewing such nonsensical drivel. The Jihad are very similar to the ultra conservative christian right in our own country - they both interpret their "religion" to suit their own ideological needs. They both believe that their faith is a righteous faith that impowers them to pass judgement on others, and dole out punishment as they see fit. Jesus and Mohammad would not have ever wanted the followers of the faiths they founded to behave in such a heathen manner. Leave the judgement up to God.

And perhaps Al Quaida activities could have been truly curtailed if we had kept our focus in retaliating for Sept. 11 where it should have been, in Afghanistan, instead of shifting focus to Iraq and Hussein. Now don't jump the trigger and start ranting about evil dictatorships, because that is not the point. The point is that there is no direct correlation between the Sept. 11th attacks and Iraq, and there were no WMD's.

The limp-wristed liberals--you mean the the people who said things like "we should protect public transportation instead of creating a terrorist factory in Iraq?" Good thing we didn't listen to them.

OK, first, there are too many "anonymouses". If you don't have the whatever to post a name, It would be helpful if you would identify yourself somehow in your comment. Thanks.

So I ruffled some rainbow colored lib feathers; I figured I would. Look, I was mad! Liberals seems content to want to live in a 9-10 world and think that if we self annalyze and try to modify ourselves into a less offensive culture, then everything will be OK. And if we just go after that pesky Binladen guy then we'll get him and the annoyance of Terrorism (John Kerry's term), will be eliminated. It doesn't work, it never has and it never will. These are fanatical evil nuts that will continue to do whatever to whomever, in a mission of terror to disrupt and destroy western civilization.

Yeah, I know enough about Islam to know that it is a global cult, The fact that one of you would even use the name Jesus and mohammed in the same sentence is evidence of the moral relativistic illness that has you so confused. And by the way, Jesus didn't start his own faith. How can you even think to equate the Christian right with Islamo-fascist terrorists?! That's really sick.

You'll take it from here? That's rich. The religious right has had its hands on the controls since January 2001. Thus far it's managed to capture the one leader who's had nothing to do with September 11th. Fortunately the majority of your fellow Minnesotans possess a better grasp of the situation. Perhaps it's time for you to move to Alabammy, the state George W. Bush so gallantly defended during 'Bam.

Sorry Jeff, don't know what "Bam" is but I'll bet it was great! I've heard it said that the North saved the nation in the late 19th century, and it will be the South that saves it in the 21st century. I believe that is correct. Your right, there are a lot of very confused lefties up here. It is a result of decades of big money, limosine liberals running the cities, and an old world "Farmer Labor" mentality that has deep roots where people only think in terms of 50 year old stereotypes of country club republicans and FDR democrats. They are wrong. My mother-in-law still votes democrat even though she has nothing in common with the modern day party. "It's just what you do if you live in St.Paul". Look, I have lots of very good friends that are confused pathetic liberals. I love you guys! It just makes me very scared for our future if you ever get close to political control again, because you will get us all killed. No joke. Evil is not a social program you can fix with a program or sensitivity training, understanding or political policy. It is only fixed with overwhelming and deadly force.

I couldn't agree more. We need to seek out and destroy evil in all of it's manifestations. Libs like Jeff can't understand that fact. They're too busy whinning about standing up for American ideals like due process and proof of guilt. Bleeding heart lefties don't understand that we may need to destroy our nation and it's institutions in order to save our mortal butts. I too live in a constant state of paranoid fear like yourself, and only feel safe when our nation is lashing out. It doesn't matter at who. Just as long as our guns are blazing.

Great. Now I can't tell who the bigger nut job is: will or scud.

scud said...

Good one! I think there might be just a little bit of sarcasm there. Interesting though. Bottom line. Radical Islam has to be weeded out and eliminated. That is of course best done within their own Muslim communities. However, if they -the moderates- are too afraid or weak to do it, or they in fact understand that the Koran actually teaches that fanatical ideology, then the west has to defend itself by taking the battle to them, where ever they are. That can't be that hard to understand.

Anonymous said...

If we must take the battle to where they are, then why did the religious right attack them where they aren't?

scud said...

Jeff,
I'm sorry for you. Unfortunately, it is apparent that you are sadly entrenched in a fantasy world from which there is no hope of escape. You and your buddies don't get it. So like I said, step back, "we'll take it from here". Good luck.

Anonymous said...

Yeah Jeff, I'm sorry for you too. Living in your fantasy world must indeed be nice. However, true patriots like myself and Scud know the reality of the situation. If you could just take one moment to stop hating America you would see as well. I don't care that the President lied to us about WMDs in Iraq. I don't care if intelligence was fixed around a predetermined policy. I don't care that the UN resolutions we so often cite never gave us the right to invade a sovereign nation. Hell, I don't even care about the UN. I don't care that our nation's venture in Iraq is costing billions of dollars, and thousands of lives, and isn't making us one bit safer. What I do care about is the fact that Klinton disgraced the presidency and the nation by lying about a blow job.

The only fantasy I see is the one in which Iraq had anything to do with al Qaeda (hint to the faith-based community: they're the guys who attacked us) There is no need to let you "take it from here" as the religious right has had its fingers on the controls during the entire war on terror[ism]. Thus far you've managed to capture one leader who had NOTHING to do with September 11th. Contrary to Bushian "logic" the idea is to reduce combat fronts not add them.

Ah, how I enjoy reading comments from the liberal Left. It cracks me up to see how their minds work. As they sit at home, wetting their beds, wringing their bony little hands, driving their Saabs and Volvos with Kerry/Edwards stickers still pasted on their bumbers, dreaming of a world without God, a world of raging homosexuality, a society without values or social mores, a place where the rights of animals and trees far outweigh the rights of the unborn, government dependence is considered a lofty goal, and everyone is a card-carrying liberal who apologizes for everything under the sun. Sounds like nivana to me.

It doesn't sound like "Nirvana" to me, Anonymous. No sir, Nirvana (I prefer Heaven) would be a place where everyone drives around in their Hummers with little Jesus fish plastered to their trunks. It would be a place were nobody would have to think for themselves because we would all be spoon fed our talking points by our infallible leadership. A place were I could sit in the safety of my home and spew inane rhetoric about people who question the reasons our nation is in a war which I do not serve in. It would be a place were all mankind would be afforded equal protection and rights under the law, except for the queers of course, and anyboby our dear leader deems to be an enemy combatant.

I have to hand it to you, Anonymous - if that *is* your real name. I admire the audacity it took to construct such a comical straw man in a public forum. The reality-based community is sure to concede now that you've dismantled your own house of cards.

Anonymous said...

Yo Jeff, relax, it really did not take any audacity on my part. I was just wasting time, poking a stick in the eyes of a couple of raging Lefties. Just can't resist, you're such easy targets.

Scud, you rock. Your blogs are dead on. Keep 'em coming!

You sure did tell him.

Hey Scud, you have five children who are of military service age. Why don't your children "take it from here", and go act as IED bait in Iraq?
