I'm Off!

Sorry to disappoint you all, but I'm off to Europe to spread the gospel of conservatism to our demented socialist pseudo-allies across the pond. We start in London, then to Gay Pareee, then Venice, Tuscany and Rome. I promise to wear my biggest USA shirt, cowboy boots and Bush hat. I also promise to talk loud, in English only, make fun of everything I see and hear that's not familiar, and ask for French fries at every French restaurant. I'll let you know how it goes. Viva la USA!

Here's a homework assignment for all you kind hearted, inclusive, and diversity minded libs: watch for any replays of the "massive" anti-War/Bush/America rally from last weekend, and tell me how proud you must be that those circus animals that were on display in DC, are now the voice of the demoncrat party and the liberal ideology of the left. Please tell us how you think you ever will have a shot at winning a major election again?

Hillary the Borg Queen-Resistance is Futile

Hilary Clinton made a surprise announcement today at a NYC Press conference in which she admitted being the true Borg Queen. She then followed by saying in a slightly mechanized voice, that "You will be assimilated. Resistance is futile". She then proceeded to peel off the nasty pink pollyester pantsuit she was wearing and her ever changing hairstyle wig, and revealed her true form. One Times reporter was overheard whispering to himself, "Gawd Almighty, no wonder Bill won't sleep with her, gross!" Hillary, with her super Borg powers, overheard his mutterings and stared at him intently. Suddenly, the reporter's head exploded into a fine red mist that coated the room. Hillary then asked politely, "Are there any questions?" Not surprisingly, the room was quiet. She then pulled out an easle with a large photograph of the Borg cube. She pointed one of her robotic fingers at it and exclaimed that this was the Borg vision of the world under new Borg rule. As her voice became increasingly mechanical, she stated, "Do not fear, just like the goals of liberalism, there will be no poverty, hunger, or pain. There will be no rich, no need for individualism, religion or hope. We are Borg. We are one. Resistance is futile."

The reporters in the room were silent for a few seconds more, then nodded compliently and said to each other, " Yeah, that makes sense. Hillary's right, she's always right. I guess we are Borg." "Yup", another said, "We are Borg". "Let's get assimilated". "We have been for years", another said. "Oh yeah, Hail Hillary! The Borg Queen!"

Feinstein Gets to the Point

Senator Dianne Feinstein, Democrat from California, made an impassioned plea with soon to be Chief Justice, John Roberts to preserve the sacred right of every woman to choose abortion as an alternative to childbirth. Breaking with committee tradition, Feinstein left her chair and climbed atop the large hearing room table and proceeded to pace back and forth while speaking in a shrill tone, gesturing wildly with her hands.

"For me to support you as Chief Judge, you must promise me that you will do whatever it takes to preserve the sacred right and privilege that is every woman's, to be able to have the federal government sanction the abortion of a child, I mean meaningless mass of cellular tissue." She continued, "It has always been my highest honor and goal to fight for the continued ability for all women, to know personally the joy and elation of scrambling a baby's brains and then to have its lifeless and mangled body take its rightful place in the medical waste container. The thrill of hearing the Vaccusuck 3000 whir into operation, about to snuff the worthless life growing inside you into the sink, is music to every liberal's ears. It makes me very proud to know that since Roe vs. Wade, we have been able to extinguish over 40 million children, thus saving this country the waste of educating them and having to endure the hardship of watching them grow into contributing members of society, or worse, Republicans!" she shrieked. "Government supported infanticide is one of our greatest achievements, and you'd better not take that away from us!" she screamed. As she was about to continue, security guards, from behind the table, were able to sedate Ms Feinstein with a tranquilizer dart, which struck her in the left buttock. She yelled one final statement as she slumped to the tabletop, "Let us kill...”. Her words trailed off as she slipped into a deep sleep.

As she was being carted away, Senator Kennedy was overheard talking to Joe Biden saying, "Well at least she got to the real point. Killing babies is really all that matters. As long as this guy [Roberts] allows us to continue doing that, we're fine with him". "Gawd, I love a good abortion!" Kennedy said. "It's almost as good as making my own snuff film in the river", he added. Biden nodded in agreement, with a misty, prideful gleem in his eyes.

It's really not fair. John Roberts is so far beyond the intellectual realm of the morons on the left trying to riddle him with infantile questions, that it's as if Babe Ruth was hitting in a T-ball game. The site of the dems trying to grand stand and showboat - basically for constituent points - was enough to make most people, not blinded by partisan hate, laugh out loud. Not only is Roberts intellectually superior to the pubescent whiners of the left, but without a doubt, is also in a different atmosphere morally and ethically. I mean really, Ted Kennedy questioning anyone on judicial matters? Please! I love this guy. I am so glad he is a part of the "good side of the force". The darksiders don't stand a chance, and the more they speak, the more they alienate themselves from the majority of Americans competent enough to be paying attention. So go ahead libs; speak out; make sure we all can hear you, because your stupidity is entertaining.

Time to take a quick time out from Katrina and the flood of liberal hatred and venom spewed daily by Satan's army of the left.

Former Clinton National Security advisor, Sandy "stuffed shorts" Berger was fined $50,000 dollars for stealing and destroying top-secret documents from the National Archives. Even though the recommended sentence was $10,000, the judge thought the greater amount was justified given the severity and outrageous nature of the crime. In exchange for pleading guilty, "Burglar" must give up his security clearance for 3 years (way too short), and promise to wear flip flops, tank tops and boxers when entering the Archives in the future, thus eliminating his favorite places to hide documents.

To recap, "Burglar", member in good standing with the Arkansas mafia that took over the Whitehouse, was caught stuffing top secret, national security documents of various types into his underwear, socks, pockets and shirt. He then admittedly, took them home and destroyed some of them. Of course this is not recommended behavior, even for someone in the Clinton administration, but in my view, $50,000 is nothing more than a slap on the wrist. Obviously if Joe Blow went into the National Archives and even sniffed at stuffing a napkin into his pocket, he'd be doing 20 years in the federal pen, no question. But the former National Security advisor egregiously steals classified documents and it's a 3-year time out and pocket change for the well connected. Another Clintonista skates again.

Not coincidentally, he took these documents when supposedly refreshing his memory, at the request of mob boss Bill, prior to them both testifying before the 9-11 commission. The documents he took were primarily concentrated in the few years leading up to 9-11 and specifically in the year 2000. It just so happens that the recently revealed military covert op called Able Danger, had brought to light the fact that 9-11 terrorist leader, Mohamed Atta and other members of his cell were known about over a year before 9-11-2001. Military officials tried to bring this information to the FBI for further investigation but were specifically halted by Jamie Gorelick, Deputy Attorney General for the Clinton Administration. Gorelick and the Administration had specifically put rules in place preventing intelligence operatives from sharing information with criminal investigators. Hmm, I wonder why.

Could it be that old "stuffed shorts" was doing whatever he could to conceal the fact that primary culpability for 9-11 lay squarely in the lap of the Arkansas mafia? And why was it that the Able Danger operation and its findings were never mentioned in the famous 9-11 Commission Report? Oh yeah, Jamie Gorelick, the Clintonista who prevented the Atta information from being passed on to the FBI, was on the commission, go figure. Clinton Corruption continues, and old “stuffed shorts" slithers away. Libs lie, Americans die.

More Liberal Hysteria Debunked

Wesley Pruden, editor in chief of the Washington Times eloquently stated in his September 6th column what I, and millions of other commonsense laden Americans have been thinking and saying since the beginning of the Katrina flood. It is not The President's fault that this tragedy happened, and yet the looney left would rather sell off the plight of thousands of victims for political profit than use their energy and voice to try to unify the country and heal the brokenness of an entire region. There is little doubt that although a majority of the hardcore left would proudly profess themselves as atheists or agnostics, they have unwittingly become a part of an out of touch cult, and now worship at the alter of Bush hatred. They have become so blinded by their own rage they can no longer discern between healthy and measured debate and acidic lunacy that is eating away at the fabric that holds this country together.

A good example of this can be found in our friend Sean Penn as he took time off from his valuable world travels and donated himself to be a living metaphor for the left when he entered the fray in NO. While we all should at least tip our hats to our favorite stoner from "Fast Times" for showing up and trying to help, you can't help but notice the irony of his initial rescue effort. As he so heroically launched his boat, affectionately dubbed, "The Tasty Wave", Sean, dressed in a flack jacket, surrounded by security, and photographers to capture the moments, stood atop the bow not unlike Washington crossing the Delaware and proudly announced for all to hear, "Stand Back! I'm an actor! I will rescue you!" Sadly, like the left itself, He forgot to put in the drain plug and The Tasty Wave slowly succumbed to the toxic soup. Alas our hero would be back, and not missing a beat, proceeded to lend his political insights to the public airwaves and declared this to be "the criminal negligence of the Bush administration". Thanks Sean, your intellect and analysis are precious, but your boating skills are lacking.

Leading by Example

Abraham Lincoln put it this way at the close of his Second Inaugural address:

"With malice toward none, with charity for all, with firmness in the right as God gives us to see the right, let us strive on to finish the work we are in, to bind up the nation's wounds, to care for him who shall have borne the battle and for his widow and his orphan, to do all which may achieve and cherish a just and lasting peace among ourselves and with all nations."

This is what we must strive for as a nation, which is what President Bush is doing. He is leading by example and doing what he can to help alleviate the pain and suffering of our fellow citizens. Unlike the unfortunate choice of many in the media and various other rabid liberals who choose to tear down whatever or whomever is in their immediate line of sight, the President is showing the way by doing, leading, encouraging and mobilizing resources. Even though he has been the target of unprecedented attacks by political opponents, he has refused to stoop to their level and is concentrating on getting things done that benefit the needy, not wallowing in the immature business of finger pointing and blame, so characteristic of the left.

The federal government is a giant entity, not necessarily well suited to immediate response. Big ships turn slowly. First response action is the responsibility of local and state officials first, and then federal if needed. The federal government doesn't get involved until requested by state government. All of these groups are giant beurocracies. It is so unfortunate that the state officials did not anticipate the severity of the impending devastation and request federal assistance earlier, but that's why it is called a tragedy, a natural disaster, An ACCIDENT! People drowning in their attics is not George Bush’s fault! People like poverty pimp, Jesse Jackson, rapper, Kenye West, and Civil rights activist, Randall Robinson need to learn this, although I will concede that it is too late for them and most of the left, who thrive on anger, hate and blame. Much of the left is addicted to the rush attained from negative energy and will utilize any tragedy to get their next fix. The rest of us will follow the Presidents lead and remain positive, not looking to blame, but looking to help.

Time to Pull Together

There's really not much that can be said about a disaster of this magnitude. Americans are dying and suffering badly. Other than the areas directly hit, the rest of us are going to suffer indirectly through energy prices and a damaged economy. But in times like this, America shines. This is where we get to show the world how we band together, put politics and ideological differences behind us and work together as a team to heal ourselves, right? Well, almost. Fortunately, the vast majority of Americans are pitching in and helping in any way possible. But unfortunately, not unlike 9-11, there are some that can't help themselves but to take any tragedy and politicize it for personal gain. Maybe I'm overly sensitive to this and am somewhat blinded by partisanship, but so far, the libs have a commanding lead in the category of irresponsible rhetoric and pathetic finger pointing. Former Clintonista and probable keeper of the sacred Vince Foster hard drive, Sid "the weasel" Blumenthal, wrote an article for Spiegel yesterday in which he blatantly blames the Bush administration for the tragedy because funding was cut recently for the Army Core of Engineers for a study on the Levy problem in New Orleans. Similarly, Robert Kennedy Jr. displayed his inbreeding by also insanely blaming Republicans for Global warming resulting in the huricane, also, many of the hardcore lefties in the media like CNN, have had emotional melt downs in their coverage of the tragedy by ranting against the government - specifically President Bush. Of course there are many reasons for frustration and fear, but the irresponsible and wrong thing to do is to try to blame anyone for this. The left needs to exercise a little bit of discipline and try to shut up and help with their hands, not tear down with their mouths.
I encourage everyone to donate money at the very least, to a good charity like the Red Cross or Feed the Children.

The Truth in Iraq - A Must Read.

Michaeal Yon is a writer that is in Iraq and honestly and candidly gives his experiences via his Blog. This is some amazing stuff and should be read by every American. I wish it could be read regularily on school campuses to try to counter the perpetual lies that are poluting kids minds daily. this article reminds us all of the heroism that is daily excersized by our military and the level of care and compassion they show to even the worst of our enemies. The hate America first ideologs from the left should read this, but they won't. And even if they did, it would be dismissed as lies and/or propaganda from the evil administration. But everyone else should take the time to follow the link and get to know this guy. He tells it straight and tells the story of Iraq in a manner that is very visual.

There is no doubt, our military is made up of some amazing people who are doing incredible things and are doing them at great personal risk and sacrifice, all so we can sit in our comfotable homes and read and chat about it from thousands of miles away. Our freedom depends on these great people. They deserve our respect and support. And "support"" does not mean wanting them home! It means that we support their mission and their efforts as well. Hug a vet and thank them.

Time Out from Leftist Insanity

Sorry I haven't had time to rant recently. It takes time to send kids off to college, do yard work, run a business and have a life. It really feels necessary sometimes to tune out all the insanity of politics and not have to deal with liberal ideology. But, that's their strategy - bark loud and bark often and those of us who aren't rabid dogs will tune out the noise and stop paying attention. Well, it works. I am turning off the sick, feeble minded libs for a short time so I can enjoy life and concentrate on all the fabulous things I've been blessed with. The nasty, hate filled liberals who hide behind a false cloak of "we care", can spew their venom all they want, I won't be listening. In fact, that's probably one of the things that drives liberals nuts, that conservatives don't respond to their outrageous behavior with like minded fervor. Conservatives are, for the most part, level headed, fair-minded, hardworking people with jobs and families and spiritual faith. So when the left makes up their stupid lies and anti- American propaganda, e.g. Michael Moore, we just silently shake our heads and patiently wait for the next election where we can minimize these idiots. This angers the left because to them, since they didn't hear a major outcry of resistance to their propaganda, they assume that everyone agrees with them. Wrong. Another example of the insanity and immature self-mindedness of the left. They don't get it and they won't ever get it. e.g. Howard Dean, 99% of Hollywood and the mainstream media. e.g. The Cindy Sheehan story.

In case we tune out to the point we forget what the left is about, here's a quick reminder of what they stand for:

1. Hate George W. Bush, love anyone who professes hatred for George W. Bush.

2. Hate any and all conservatives, love progressively grows the farther left ones ideology goes, ie. socialists, communists, anarchists.

3. Hate religion, especially Christians and Jews, love atheism, and all religions that hate Christians and Jews.

4. Hate traditional family values, love all forms of alternative lifestyles, especially those that result in difficulty sitting down.

5. Hate economic progress and prosperity, love doom and gloom - makes people scared and dependent on government.

6. Hate traditional education, love alternative systems that are self esteem based, and that center on feelings, leftist propaganda and revisionist history.

7. Hate "the melting pot", love pot.

8. Hate talk radio, the internet and Fox news, love CBS, CNN, NBC, ABC, 99% of Newspapers, and Hollywood.

9. Hate human population, love animals of all kinds, especially those that hinder or eat humans.

10. Hate human influence on mother earth, love the thought of mother earth and nature without humans.

11. Hate free and fair elections, love one world socialism, and total governance by elites - who know better.

12. Hate the military, love trying to talk and reason as their throat is being cut by bad guys.

So there's a little overview of what the left stands for. I'll post more as I think of them. Time to get on with life.

Media Bias Anyone?

OK, I'll take the bait. Lets rip a grieving mother. No, maybe not. Cindy Sheehan is a woman who lost her son to terrorist zombies in Iraq. There is no way I can fully imagine what that would feel like. I would be angry I know, but I don't think I would be angry at the president. Of course it certainly is her right to blame the president if she wants to. The odd thing to me is that a year ago she had very different feelings after a personal meeting with President Bush. Apparently, she was very impressed with the president, saying that she knew he was sincere and that his condolances were genuine. She said that his visit lifted the spirits of her family. Now, her story is very different. Could it be that some helpful Bush haters got to her and suggested that her story might be different than what she originally stated? Who knows. Like I said, who am I to tell someone how to grieve for the loss of their child. I think it probably might be of some importance to mention that Sheehan's son was 24, and joined the military without any cohersion from anyone in the Bush administration.

The real story here isn't the grieving and angry mother outside the Bush ranch in Texas, but rather, the over the top media coverage it is generating. The lefties in the newsroom have another story they can run with that serves their ideological slant. There are so many cameras in Cindy Sheehan's face, it's a wonder she can breath. I really wish that just one of the alphabet channels of the left would have the common sense to give equal time to any of the hundreds of fallen soldiers' families who are proud of the mission their child was a part of, support and respect our President, and realize, even through their grief, that America is worth fighting for and Iraq and Afghanistan are part of the war on Islamic terror which ultimately will keep us safer. No one seems interested, that I've seen, in doing any counter, positive story. It's just too tempting to be the lazy liberal trash that they are and stick a camera in the face of an angry mother and listen to her spew about how President Bush killed her son. Wrong story, wrong motives, wrong message. Libs lose again.

No More "Times"

The New York Times is proving again that the main stream media has lost all credibility and short of the obituary and want ad sections, can't be trusted for accuracy or objectivity in news - actually that's because those sections are written by readers, not reporters. Apparently NYT reporters are investigating the adoptions of Supreme Court Nomonee, John Robert's two children. I'm sure this is completely above board and normal proceedure to look into adoption records. And we have to assume that when their investigation is complete, if no dirt can be found in the issue, the Times would run a positive story on the virtues of adoption and how squeeky clean Judge Roberts and his wife are, right?
Wrong! The Times, like so much of the "MSM" is absolute garbage. How dare they try to destroy a nomonee by digging into their family lives! I'm done with the Times. No more. It actually is only an occational read anyway because I've been sick of it for years, but this sent me over the edge.

At present they are trying to backpeddle their way out of it by releasing a statement saying that investigating the adoption is part of the paper's "standard background check." Bill Borders, NYT senior editor, explains: "Our reporters made initial inquiries about the adoptions, as they did about many other aspects of his background. They did so with great care, understanding the sensitivity of the issue."

Sorry Bill, this doesn't pass the smell test; "doing so" at all is the problem. If you have a beef with Roberts because he's a conservative, fine, just be honest and come out and say so. But to go after the adoption of young children is beyond disgusting even for the breed of liberals that have infested the Times.

"More On" Fine art exhibit

There seems to be a bit of confusion on the part of some liberal commenters as to the sincerity of my praise of the outstanding display of artistic talent at the request of the California State Attorney Generals Office. Some unfortunate, anonymous individual, who apparently was denied a name at birth, doesn't seem to think that my praise of the work by Stephen Pearcy was sincere or that my facts were accurate. Well, just to make this poor no named soul feel better, here are some facts.

1. The art exhibit is co-sponsored by the California Arts Council, a taxpayer supported state agency, and Attorney General Bill Lockyer, Democrat.

2. While Lockyer and the Arts Council have tried to distance themselves from responsibility concerning the content of the exhibit, a news release by Lockyer shows his support. In the release, Attorney General Lockyer says it is “an honor to co-host this powerful exhibit.” Lockyer goes on to say, “the collected fine works of these artists – and lawyers – achieve these worthwhile objectives with style and beauty.” In the same news release, Muriel Johnson, Chairman of the California Arts Council, says she was “impressed” by the work, describing it as “wonderful.”

The fact that there is an art exhibit at all within the state government means that it is government sponsored. Therefore essentially, as taxpayers, the residents of that state have a right to know what their resources are being used for and to object.

As an artist myself, I have been in many art exhibits. Even in the simplest show, for any legitimate event the works have been juried before being allowed to hang. Therefore either this was juried and supported by the government officials overseeing the display, or it was simply another example of incompetence where democrat lefties saw another opportunity to shock and offend the sensibilities of mainstream America. Either way, the losers will be Democrats as they continue to distance themselves from the sane majority of this country.

Liberal Art Shows Stunning Genius!

Another brilliant creative genius displayed his talent recently at the California State Department at the request of Democrats. It's truly amazing to witness the depth of talent and intellect within the rank and file liberals that make up the bulk of the Democratic Party. There seems to be an infinite reserve of creativity and exquisite artistic technique within liberals that apparently cannot be matched by bottled up, stuffy Republicans. In this artistic epiphany by Lawyer/Artist Stephen Pearcy, the use of line, form and color literally floats through the viewers’ eyes, touching and pacifying the soul. Even the thought given to the placement, color and weight of the custom typography used is perfectly in balance with the unity of the whole. The artist's use of brush technique accentuates the energy and movement carried throughout the piece.

In describing his work, Pearcy said he had made the painting on July 4, 2003, to "show the direction this country was (and still is) headed under the Bush administration." The painting also "confronted the absurd display of 'fanatical patriotism' following 9/11." It truly is a beautiful thing when creativity at this level, and patriotism come together so cohesively in a work such as this. Liberals must be very proud!

Sacramento is truly blessed to have a work of this caliber hanging within its walls. Californians can only hope that the state department will see fit to use some ill-targeted tax money, probably slated for something excessive like new fire trucks or roads, and find a way to make this wonderful display of liberal genius a permanent fixture in the state capitol. Bravo Stephen Pearcy, your art has touched all of us! Liberals everywhere should stand up and salute. Liberal superiority has been proven once again!

Terrorist's War on Cars Continues

In another surprise attack, Islamic terrorists attacked and destroyed another perfectly good car. Their relentless mission to destroy the automobile seems to be driving force that fuels the continued carnage all over the world. Their broader vision apparently is a war on transportation - airplanes in the US, trains in Spain, subways and busses in London - but their favorite target is of course, the automobile. It is surprising how intelligence agencies, governments and military strategists have misdiagnosed the true aim of global terror. They keep thinking only in terms of the human impact these acts have when in fact, harm to innocent people is no more than unintended collateral damage to those who just happen to be in the wrong place at the wrong time. The true target of their hate is the car.

To discover this little known secret of the Islamic terrorist network I took an Evelyn Woods speed reading Arabic course and set out to do some research. It took some deep digging but finally I found the clues I needed and was able to connect the hidden dots. It seems that at the core of Islam is a profound love and respect for animals, the camel in particular. They actually have very close ties with P.E.T.A. and a little known Islamic organization, L.Y.C.T. (Love Your Camel Tonight). In a recent article in Al Jezeera, Osama Binladen writes of his love for his latest wife, and of the beauty of their courtship. It is quite moving. jibberishIt is because of this devotion and love for the camel that they have such a deep hatred for more modern forms of transportation. They are deeply saddened and angered that over the past 10 years, camel sales have dropped off by nearly 40 percent. In an interview with a anonymous source in a terrorist network in Afghanistan, he shared that he suffers from chronic depression caused by the realization that his sons may not know the joy of emerging from their cave every morning to the warm wet kiss of the family camel. Instead, it will be the cold impersonal sheen of sheet metal on the Mercedes. It's no wonder they want to destroy all the cars.

Now that we know and understand the true goals of radical Islamic terror, the solution to ending the violence seems simple. We must remove all motorized transportation from these simple loving cultures and send representatives from P.E.T.A., the Sierra club and Green Peace to hand out flyers and share their mutual love of animals so that the terrorists will feel a kinship with us. Only then will the world have a meaningful and lasting peace and camels and will once again be at the center of the Islamic world.

"That's Not My Bag, Baby!"

Obviously we all are intensely interested in trying to prevent any more terrorism from hitting us within our own borders. London has been another cruel reminder that the scum is out there, waiting for the opportunity to slaughter the innocent. So when I read that New York was going to start random bag searches of people using any of the mass transit systems in the city, I was very pleased. Finally, I thought, they are going to do something more than give us a color-coded warning. Let the authorities get out there and search these anti-deodorant fanatics before they can get on a subway and kill Americans!

Then I read further, and the sad reality sunk in. Just when I thought they were getting it right, they inform us that it's more important to not offend someone or hurt their feelings from being selected out, than to really try to prevent us from being blown into tiny pieces. In a New York Times article today, police commissioner Kelly said in reference to who would be checked, "No racial profiling will be allowed," Mr. Kelly said. "It's against our policies. But it will be a systematized approach."

Oops. not helpful. This will unfortunately become like the fiasco of politically correct searches at the airport. Look, we all know who and what are blowing innocent people up! It's not the Johnsons next door! You've got to profile! I suppose there could be another McVey or Rudolph out there, but they are the exception. The backpacks that need to be checked will be on the backs of morons named Mohammed, and on women wearing black shower curtains. Check them, and leave the Johnsons alone!

Good choice!

Thank you! During the 2004 Presidential campaign, the impending Supreme Court vacancy(s) was the big issue out there waiting to solidify conservatives and to finally put an end to, or at least curtail judicial activism. This was probably the one issue that rallied the most support for President Bush over all others. With the announcement of John Roberts as his choice to fill the first vacancy, that campaign promise seems to have not been forgotten. Roberts seems to be the perfect choice for the court. His intellect is undeniable, his character appears impeccable and he seems to have a demonstrable track record of being a strict constructionist, using the constitution as his guide, not world or popular opinion. The other benefit to this choice is that it will make fools of the liberals in the Senate who will not be able to contain themselves and will need to try to shoot down this appointment. It will be like insects to a bug zapper. They won't be able to hold back. Already liberals like Schumer, and Durbin have promised to make fools of themselves by tipping their hand as to how they feel about Roberts. Liberal groups like Moveon are going to attempt to either smear Roberts or do their best to influence the liberals in the senate to vote against him. They will fail. And it will be glorious! Of course there's no assurance how anyone will prove to be as a Supreme Court justice, but given the current tone in Washington, this seems to be a brilliant choice by the President. The confirmation process will be entertaining to say the least. Way to go, George!

OK, look; this is a message specifically aimed at the evil lefties out there who seem hell bent on living in a fantasy land and insisting that we need to be killed at the hands of Islamo-fascist zombies who live only to kill us! You are dangerous morons! I couldn't believe what Clintonista, Paul Begalla said this past weekend to a bunch of brainwashed college children, that "Republicans want to kill me and my children". What a despicable human. All these former Clinton apologists have done nothing of value except continue to spin the big lie that "D" means good, and "R" means bad.

I love all the whaling and gnashing of teeth over the Rove situation. It is once again, the perfect example of the looney left completely losing it over absolutely nothing. Talk about making mountains out of molehills! This will prove to be nothing. Except that maybe Joe Wilson should go to prison for perjury. What a shameless partisan hack! Nice ambassador. It's no wonder we never had a chance to work anything out with Iraq.

Where was the lefties' outrage when Sandy Berger was literally caught with his pants down (now there's a Clintonism), stealing documents? Sandy Berger, former Clinton National Security Advisor goes into the National Archives and removes top secret memos, notes and documents, stuffs them in his underwear and socks, steals them and destroys them. All this right before he and drinkin' buddy Bill were to testify in front of the 9-11 commission on what their administration did in response to terrorism. Oops. Nothing. Quick, cover our butts and plead ignorance. That always works. And on matters like this, we never hear boo from the left. That's OK I guess, sure no problem, look the other way. And this is one place where I strongly disagree with the Bush Whitehouse and the Justice department. Go after Traitors like Berger, et.al. They are too soft on the illegal actions of the former regime. But I guess they still think they can win party points with these people if they just treat them nice. Note to President Bush, not that unlike the insane Islamists, the left hates you and I because we exist, not because we haven't been nice enough to them! They will always hate conservatives! They live only to try to win back power and to eliminate conservatism. There will be no compromising with these hate filled lunatics! So quit trying so hard to be nice, it won't work.

Then on a final note, on my previous post, a gutless, hate filled lib commented the following,

"Hey Scud, you have five children who are of military service age. Why don't your children "take it from here", and go act as IED bait in Iraq?"

This is a perfect example of the hate and disdain that the left has for this country and the military. First of all gutless, my children are all honest, patriotic Americans and yes, they have and are considering service. Which is more, I assume, than you would ever do. And no matter what they choose to do, I will be incredibly proud of them. Unlike you, I don't actually hate you or the other pathetic misinformed sheeple like you. I just pity your demonstrated ignorance and realize that you, like a cancer, have metastasized to the point that you will not go away. So we, the healthy side of this country, just have to keep winning and continue to deal with the illness of liberalism. Have a nice day!

We'll Take it from Here

OK, it's time for the whiney, wimpy, limp-wristed liberals to step back and let the adults handle things from here. I think the liberals have had their time to tantrum about the unfairness of no longer being in power or having any credibility as to political ideology. It is time for them to sit down, shut up and let the grown ups save their sorry butts. You would think that they would have the capacity to learn that appeasement has never worked throughout history, or in this conflict, which has been going on for decades. The Islamo-fascists have been very clear; they hate the west because it exists not because of a particular policy or our support of Israel, or a military base on Saudi soil. We are infidels because we don't adhere to their fanatical view of Islam. Period! They cannot be reasoned with, they don't play by Geneva convention rules, and they are thrilled at the thought of dying while killing as many women and children as possible. They need to be rooted out and destroyed, no more touchy feely crap about being sensitive to their cultural and religious needs. And let's face it; this is a war on Islam! This is a cult not a religion. It was formed by a fanatical and barbaric lunatic who had delusions of grandeur, and hated women- although he owned dozens, some as young as 6 years old. Why anyone would buy into this is a mystery to me. I have no respect for muslims at all. Why don't we hear prominent Islamic leaders calling for jihad against the terrorists among them to weed them out and destroy them? They would go a long way to earn the respect of the rest of the world if they would only do this. I want to see on the front page of the paper that muslims have turned over terrorist cells living among them. Why doesn't that happen? Because the moderates are afraid they will be killed, or they know that the terrorists are actually following the teachings of the Koran. Either way, we know that will never happen. So the only way to defend ourselves from the army of Satan is to take the fight to them. Thank you President Bush, Tony Blair and the rest of the coalition of the willing who are strong enough to stand up against the evil of terror, and it's partner in psychological warfare, liberalism.

It's the Fourth of July!

Ahh... the middle of summer. As a Minnesotan, I have mixed feelings about this time of year. It's wonderful that the weather is fabulous, everything is growing and the lakes are available for swimming and fishing. But it's also a bit sad, in that I realize that this time of year, that I have looked forward to for so long, is almost gone. The days are already getting shorter and before long, we will be gathering our nuts and feathering our nests in preparation for another brutal 9 month endurance test called winter. Oh well, let's enjoy it while we can!

My wife and I went to our local fourth of July celebration and sat right in the middle of the large crowd of people and prepared to be thrilled at the sight and sounds of "rockets red glare". Prior to the fireworks, as the orchestra was playing a medely of military marches, the MC had all those who had served in the military stand up when their particular service branch song came up. It was very moving to me to see all the white haired men struggle to stand up when their song started to play. As I listened and watched, I couldn't help but to feel an enormous sense of gratitude for these folks who sacrificed and risked everything to preserve this young country we enjoy. The audience applauded throughout the song as the different veterans stood and it made me proud to be a part of this great nation. As I looked around me I could see people of every shape, color, economic strata and cultural heritage showing their appreciation to the veterans who were standing. It felt good knowing that for all the differences we have on various issues we face today, for the most part, other than university and hollywood elites, we all still love this country and respect our military - past, present and future. They are the reason we continue to exist as a nation. And they have earned and continue to deserve our continued gratitude and honor.

Now it's back to preparing for winter.
